Mailman reportedly threatened with a knife in Raytown

Raytown, MO – Raytown Police were called to the 5900 block of Harris Ave. on Wednesday afternoon, 02-12-2014 around 4:00 p.m. in regard to a disturbance in the neighborhood. While Police were en route a United States Postal Worker was delivering mail on his normal route when he was confronted by the man involved in the original disturbance that Police were called on. The man reportedly confronted the Postal Worker with a knife. At that time Police arrived on the scene and the man ran into a house barricading himself inside. A woman was inside the same house. She came out without incident and shortly after the man did as well. No one was hurt during the incident. The man was arrested and an investigation of the incident is underway. No charges have been filed as of yet.

    Raytown is getting ghetto. I feel sorry for the old people and the police.
