Raytown Police Provide Opportunity for Public to Dispose of Unwanted Prescription Drugs
Raytown, MO – On Saturday, September 26th, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Raytown Police Department will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The public may bring medications for disposal to the parking lots of Raytown City Hall, 10000 E. 59th Street, or the parking lot at the southwest corner of E. 350 Highway and Raytown Road. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
During this event, officers will be accepting unwanted prescription medications, but will not be accepting aerosols, inhalers, hypodermic syringes or other sharps.
