Teen Injured in Shooting
Raytown, MO- On the evening of Thursday, 10-13-16, at about 10:34 p.m., Raytown Police were called to a residence in the 9700 block of 65 Terrace, regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they learned that a teenaged male shooting victim had already been taken from the scene to a hospital, by private vehicle.
Moments later, Raytown officers located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop it. A vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle finally stopped near 71 Highway and Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard, in Kansas City, MO, where the occupants exited and ran on foot. A police helicopter unit and police K-9’s assisted in the search. Two teenaged males were apprehended and taken into custody.
The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
